Can Maker’s Supply Be More Organized?

Hey,

I was browsing the Maker’s Supply website, and let’s be honest… it’s a mess!

Wouldn’t it be possible to create categories like:

  • Fasteners (for all screws, nuts, etc.)
  • Electrical (everything related to electricity, electronics, tags, etc.)
  • Mechanical (ball bearings, shafts, etc.)
  • Projects (maker projects using Maker’s Supply parts)

Hoping that @MakerWorld can do something about it someday!

I agree, it’s always so confusing

I second this, for me finding anything in Maker’s Supply is a real pain.

We apologize for any confusion we may have caused. We’ve noted this matter and are committed to finding ways to optimize it. In the meantime, when you’re looking for specific kits or parts, please use the search function.

Hello,

First of all, thank you very much for your response. I appreciate that there is a way to filter on the left side. However, I really like Maker World’s dark-themed interface :ok_hand: and its section-based sorting. A more structured system would be great, with:

  • Models leading to a dedicated page for models.
  • Parts leading to a specific page with tab-based sorting by object type, along with a search field.

That would be amazing!

This is just my opinion, but I believe it would help both makers and people looking for models to find what they need more easily.

Looking forward to seeing some great improvements—please say hello to the whole team!

Thanks.
