As I run a small online print business in my spare time part of my workflow is just printing the same dozen or so prints over and over and I have always done so from the printing history of the Babu Handy app. However a couple of days ago it just stopped working. I have 2 P1S printers each with an AMS and it stopped working with both at the same time.
It goes through the motions of sending the jobs and starts to download them but then says “There was a problem downloading a file. Please check your network connection and resend the print job”. There’s an error code: [0500-400B 030048] but I cannot find what it is when I google it.
The network is fine. I can see the printers and current filaments loaded in the respective AMS units just fine. I can even view the camera feed for each printer from the app. It’s weird that it’s stopped working with both my printers at the same time.
I have tried power cycling them, rebooting my router and updating my app but no joy. I should state that I am still on firmware 1.07 as I have a Panda Touch and I don’t want to lose its functionality. It was all working fine until a couple of days ago.
Good idea but sadly made no difference. The 64GB card had nearly 50GB free. I still went ahead and formatted it in the printer itself but as I say, just did the same ■■■■ again.
Hi! I have the same problem on my p1s printers. I also tried changing the router, turning on and off the vpn. It didn’t help! These printers just turned into a pumpkin.
It’s infuriating as it means I can only start a print when I’m at home whereas normally I can have my wife clear the build plate so I can start another print remotely.
What firmware is your printer on?
Starting to wonder if this is a deliberate restriction because I’ve kept my printers on the old firmware as I’ve changed nothing. One day it was working and the next both printers started acting up. Most people probably don’t use the history printing option as they’re always making new stuff so may not have noticed?
OK discovered something strange this afternoon. The jobs I have sent from Bambu Studio today can also be successfuly started from Bambu Handy printing history - but the old jobs in the history still don’ work. I can tell them apart too as the new jobs have filament towers that are half the size of the ones in my older prints (which I have probably been re-printing from my history for well over a year).
They must have changed something to make the old jobs somehow incompatible? No idea what, but I’ve got a work-around by re-printing each model just once from Bambu Studio to make them work so I’m happy.
I have this same problem. I run a small print farm and suddenly all my older files stopped working. I still use orca slicer for my jobs. I noticed my newer jobs work fine but none of my older jobs do. I have not changed firmware or anything. I noticed this started happening around the same time I noticed you can now search history, which is an amazing feature but I’m wondering if it broke my old prints somehow.
