Can the Bambu 4-in-1 PTFE Adapter be used in conjunction with the Hub?

I’m wondering if I can use the Bambu 4-in-1 PTFE Adapter as a Y-splitter AFTER the AMS hub so that I can load TPU externally.

I’ve tried the 3D-printed Y-splitters with little luck for TPU, and am hoping this would be a better solution.

Does anyone have experience with this?

I assume you mean this, which is what I am referring to in my post

I’m hoping this will work as a y splitter…I don’t need the 4 inputs, only 2 really…one for my AMS HUB and one for the external spool…

So you think it will work?

Think? Your use case is why that splitter exists at all, and the post I linked to is a review - as positive as it gets. What more do you need? :man_shrugging:

Thanks for your response. I guess because I still haven’t seen a photo setup the way I’ve described, I wasn’t sure if you were using in front of or behind the hub. This is why I was asking.

But I appreciate your response.

I’m not sure I’ve seen any other way of using it - unless maybe you mean you’ve seen it after the buffer but not after the hub? But that is equivalent use. Anyway it will work just fine :+1:t3:

Yes, I use it to feed filament from my external spool holder. It makes the external spool holder much easier to use.

However, I suggest to also print this mount to keep it stable and also to reduce potential issues with AMS feed and retraction issues:
