Wondering if anyone’s had this issue, downloaded handy today for the first time, went to log in with my bambu account and I get the error message “Your account has been detected logging in on another device. To keep it secure please update the app and login again”, as far as I can tell the app is the latest version, I uninstalled and reinstalled just incase and still the same thing, I also did a password reset which didn’t help either. I am on android if it makes a difference. I have made a ticket with bambu but their messaging suggests I might not get a reply until 3 days from now so hoping a community member can help me out in the meantime. Kinda bummed as I was hoping to set up my printer today.
I’m having the exact same problem, did you resolve it?
Not yet unfortunately, I’m guessing it has something to do with the most recent update which introduced some new security features.
Figured it out, I had to go into play store and manually update the app (from the apps store page, it does not show in the updates section) play store for some reason does not install the latest version right away.
Thanks for letting me know bro, it worked
Recently, we introduced a security update to enhance the protection of our users.
This update adds a verification step under certain conditions to ensure only you can access your account. For the Bambu Handy app, please make sure you’ve updated to the latest version (Version 2.15.5 or higher ) available on the Google Play Store or Apple App Store.
After updating, try to log in with your email and password. You may receive a verification code via email. When prompted, simply enter the code from the email to complete the login process.
This also applies to other Bambu Lab services like MakerWorld.
So I just created an account but when I try to log in to the Handy App, it only sends the same exact verification code to my email address. And when I use that code, before the 60 seconds gets close to expiring, it says the code is expired or it’s already been used.
I waited an hour, I even deleted and reinstalled the Handy app. Now I don’t get a code AT ALL to my email address. Very frustrating.
I ran into this problem with flashforge app. My work around was to have my web mail open on PC, submit for code in the app, it came to web mail much faster than my phone’s mail app. I was able to login before the 60 timer expired.
Edit to add, there were times before doing the above that I never received an email on my phone as well.
Hello, I am having a problem with Bambu Handy. When I log in to the application, even though I enter the username and password,
it gives me the warning “Cannot connect to the server, please check the network or try again later”. can you help?
i am having this issue. did you resolve yours?
I have Version 2.16.0 on my kids’ iPads and neither will log on. I get an immediate error message “Unable to connect to server, please check network or try again later.” My phone app works fine, but I want the kids to be able to find and print items from their own devices. How can I fix this issue on their iPads?
Was this issue resolved? I am having the same result. Running the most recent version of the app on a new iPad.
Same here. Latest versions of everything. Can’t login on Handy. So not very handy at all.
I got a response to my support ticket. This worked for me.
We suspect that the issue you are experiencing may be related to app network permissions, or your network configuration. We recommend that you try resetting your pad’s network configuration to see if this resolves the issue.
The following steps are demonstrated using an iPhone, and the operations and steps should be similar for an iPad.
General-> Transfer or Reset iPhone → Reset Network Settings
