I’m trying to print the new Bambu Lab Aero PLA with AMS but Bambu Studio won’t let me send the print. The PLA Aero is on slot 1 and is recognized correctly by the AMS.
Sending the print externally to the AMS works fine.
Did you try to resync with the printer?
Save the slice, resync the AMS/slicer, turn off the printer and then turn it back on. I get bugs like that every once in a while. Sometimes it clears up after the resync, sometimes I have to restart the printer.
I have to do the same thing and every now and then also have to select the printer on the device tab to get it to sync.
Yes, both Sync and Resync
Thx… i will try after the first print (without AMS)
Im also having this issue. Submitted a ticket. Extremely frustrating!
Also having this issue. It’s happening after updating Bambu Studio and the printer’s (X1C) firmware. Tried synch, resynch, power cycle printer multiple times, restart Bambu Studio. Nothing works. PLA Aero is the only filament affected.
Any one find a solution?
I ran into the same issue, then when doing some digging I read this. Bambu Lab recommends against using the AMS with PLA Aero due to the lack of strength of the PLA.
You can read more here.
I have been holding out on printing a Y splitter this may push me over the edge… so I can run a single spool and have the AMS as well.
Look int he Wiki:

Dears i solved the issue by coping the setting of aero pla in a ranamed pla basic ( i.e. bambu pla basic- aero), and it works, now i can send the print using the Ams.
Hope this will be usesful.
I’m having the same issue. Very frustrating.
I’ve tried @deugemo suggestion of copying the filament and renaming it but that won’t work either. I’m guessing because the RF chip I the spool?
Solved it.
Just incase anyone does the same as me. Make sure you change the filament type in the filament settings from PLA Aero to PLA!
Unfortunately that didn’t work
Anyone open a ticket with Bambu?
