I’m running Bambu Studio from a flatpak on Debian 12. It’s the latest version - I saw a notification that it had been updated when I logged in this morning. I need to print some parts, so I started up Bambu Studio and on the Prepare page, I don’t see the build plate or the buttons to add new objects, etc.
Does anyone know how to fix this?
No advice to offer, but I just ran into the same problem after updating a few minutes ago. Running Linux Mint 22.1
First on my list would be shutdown studio, reboot computer, restart studio & see if plate appears.
If no, maybe see if you can click on new project to see if that will load build plate.
If still no, see what if any message you get by trying to launch a existing/recent project.
I had the same issue on LInux Mint. The Appimage version works as expected. You can download it from the Bambulab github website (sorry can’t put in the link as not allowed)
not sure if you download exact linux lastest version from official bambu lab github?
Hiya, would just like to add to this that if you are using flatpak and are experiencing this, you can downgrade and it should work.
I used the following but please check for your own system’s flatpak info to make sure this works for you
ray@microwave:~$ sudo flatpak update --commit=ffd0eb5704c5e1e0af5592920551e5ce37f0d1c4a3a25928e249c11c4c5c5c7a com.bambulab.BambuStudio
Thanks for that. Downgraded and locked the version so it won’t auto-update.
I just signed up for an account to give [Ray_y018] a thumbs up!
