Can't access SD card remotely since latest update

Have a P1P that has been upgraded to P1S
Was printing fine remotely from the SD card until the latest studio update and firmware update

Now bambu studio says “Please check is the storage is inserted in the printer” which it is.

It was throwing an error on the mobile app but after power cycling the printer that seems to be resolved.

SD card works fine on PC in a card reader, on mobile app and on the printer itself - it seems to be a bambu studio issue

Hi

I have the same issue. It occured in Bambu Studio and Bambu Handy App. They have just released an update to the Handy App which has restored the functionality but Bambu Studio still has the error. I am guessing that v2 of Studio has intruduced a regression or bug that needs to be fixed.

Same issue random P1S 0500-C010 223729 error, never had this happen before last update.

Tested SD card it is reading fine in a PC
removing and inserting the SD card may/may not fix.

Also having issues with strange behavior when homing, making noise and seems to be over running.

same on the A1 with bambu studio

I swear remote control of this printer works only half the time. Bambu Handy has issues all the time with loading files.

I can access it from my local WiFi network, but as soon as I’m off local network then I can’t access or start prints remotely. This is affecting my business, I rely on being able to start remote prints.

Same same ! Can’t access from my phone nor from the local wifi . It’s affecting my business… Come on BAMBU !!! ???

Are you connecting via LAN mode?

I’m having the same problem… I have tried reseating the SD card, restarting the printer, swapping to another card, all with no change.

From what i am reading about others past issues with updates: Once I find an update that works well, never update it again lol.

I just got my first P1S, I have yet to get the printer to even recognize any wifi connections at all. Seems to be totally blind. Which I am ok with, I will just load my files with the SD card, but really wish they would have put a USB port on any of their hardware. Micro SD is just annoying to use and feels like its really behind in tech.

I get an error that my 128 gig card has an error. Tried reformatting a couple of times but still get the error on Bambu Studio. Printer shows card is installed and 119 gig available. I can send a print to the printer and prints just fine. Bambu Handy does not show I have an error with the card. I ordered a 32 gig card and formatted it and both Bambu Studio and Bambu handy work just fine accessing the card.

Thanks for that

I could have sworn it didn’t work on the mobile app either but just before posting this thread it suddenly started working

I guess as you say they updated the mobile app but the desktop app is still broken.

I’m refusing the reformat the SD card as it has tons of models I print daily on it.

We are sorry to see this issue occuring.

To be able to find a solution, can you please share the following?

  • Printer type
  • Firmware version
  • SD card size, brand and type
  • Printer logs
  • Bambu Studio logs

It’s best to share these in a dedicated ticket, so our team can carefully check this problem and find a solution.

Thank you!

I’ve also got this problem with a 128gb card.

Mine is a 128gb sandisk card

I’ve tried formatting it today both in my windows PC and on the printer itself. Still no luck
