Can't adjust fan speed in Bambu Studio

Clicking on the Fan icon in Bambu Studio used to let you adjust the 3 fans on the X1, now it just shows a modal window. No way to adjust while printing, except for using the Bambu Handy mobile app now:

Are you on the Beta version of firmware? That version is the source if the issue from what I’ve found.

I tested all versions of Bambu Studio 2.x and I found that the issue exists in those versions. If you roll back to 1.x you get your controls back. Rolling back to non beta version firmware for the X1C also solves the issue.

Same here version 2.0.3.54
They took the fan controls away for my X1C.
Sad day but at least I can now jog the movement and without homing or pop ups.

Same here Version 2.0.3.54

I’m on the latest NON-BETA (2.0.3.54 Windows) and am now experiencing this problem. This is a huge issue for me. Hopefully they will revert this. I need full control of the fans from within Bambu Studio. I wish Bambu would stop adjusting things and taking away functionality. I have over a dozen printers, and it sucks when I lose key controls like this!

Im on 2.0.1.50 and if you click the fan icon it opens the 3 to adjust but its now a pain in the +#$ because you have to confirm each time you want the fans off 99% of the time i dont use chamber or aux fans. This is the stupidest “fix” they have ever made

:frowning: fully agree!!! I do not see any reason to take that away from Studio.
I like to preheat the chamber, setting the heat bed to 100° and just 10-15 percent of AuxFan before printing filaments like PC/ABS or ABS or ASA; those prone to warping. Now I always have to go to the printer for that?! What for?!
Sometimes you really would like to know what passes through the decision makers mind…
I am sure, that the software engineers told them, that this is a bad idea…:frowning:

Yeah, it’s a pain. Sometimes when setting up a print, you notice a bit of filament hanging of the head. It was handy to ramp up the Aux fan to blow it off the bed before the print started. Now I have to go downstairs to the printers to do that

I get the same message as well. I’m on the X1-C, Bambu Studio ver. 2.1.0.59.
Did they just take away the ability to change the fan speeds, or is this a bug?
I can’t change the fan speeds from the Bambu Handy mobile app either. It is permanently stuck on 30%,30%, and 30%. If I try to change it, it immediately reverts back.
Any more info on this?

Same issue here. Totally annoying. Used this to prehreat chamber (heatbed 110 degree + aux fan 100%). From the smartphone app it is still possible to adjust the fan speed. Please fix!

Same here…Please enable the feature again!

I came here to check if others experience the same problem.
Please DON’T TAKE AWAY BASIC FUNCTIONALITY
Thank you :upside_down_face:
