Log out of the account with the printer and Studio/Handy.
Then use Handy to find the printer after you logged back into your account.
After Handy fix the issue it should bind as before and without issues.
I only ever had such struggles when I changed my router and the printer refused to budge despite the new WiFi coming with identical name and password.
My printer was sort of stuck, still thinking it is connected to a different router and when I tried to fix things I lost the printer completely.
But, and that’s the big BUT > After signing the printer out of the account and making it forget the Wifi the Handy app was again able to deal with it.
I doubt you have hardware issues but other than that I am running out of ideas
i cant do anything, i need to put in my wireless info which i do
then i go to the login page to get the binding code but it takes forever and - LOGIN failed -error code 05014024

Let Handy discover the printer using BT while the phone is on the correct Wifi.
Do the usual setup.
After that start Studio and use the access code the printer provides to connect.
If you have 2G and 5G wifi make sure they use different names and that things like smart connect are disabled.
You can revert it once the printer is working as planned.
just to make it clear, the printer ITSELF does not give me a code to bind it. the window that gives you the bind code does not work anymore, it simply loads and and loads with nothing happening and it times itself out. when it does, i get
You should try changing or finding a port on your new router, the error code seems to indicate that the printer is unable to use the current port on your router… Which is why the printer won’t give you the connection code.
my wife changed the PW for the router and it worked.
my other printer had no issues with the old PW,
dont understand at all. the old PW had worked for months on both of my printers
well whatever
regardless, thanks for all the ideas from the ppl.
thanks for the help
That bloody error means the printer is unable to connect to the internet via the wifi - it may be an issue on the router or something else, but resetting the network setup worked
