I have been unable to change the filament color on the x1c lcd screen. I can change it in the desktop app, but its annoying that it wont change on the printer. I printed 4 prints with the same configuration and color changes. The first three printed correctly, but the 4th didnt select the proper color for the last filament change, in fact it took filament from the AMS2, when the correct filament was in the AMS1. I have removed the filament from the ams and reinserted it but still unable to change it on the lcd. So if i sync from the ams then the wrong color shows on the app software again.
Resynchronize the AMS’s filament list after you make the changes in the device AMS screen, then the correct changes will be there when you go to start painting the model, otherwise when you get to the print plate popup you will need to electronically tell the AMS which slot to pull (the audible) filament change from, while the main board on the X1 has a decent amount of power it can’t rewrite GCODE like that on the fly though it would be pretty cool if it could probably for some added $0000 to the price though
When i resync the colors from the AMS transfer to the pc app, this is backwards to what i need it to do and to what makes sense. I recall i could change the filament colors on the printer lcd but cant anymore. Something has changed.
I’ve made some progress! Turn off Bambu Studio, the turn on printer, tap the second menu (looks like sliders) then Filament menu. Tap the color that needs changing and a menu will come up where you can select Bambu or Generic and pick the color from a chart. Now its not that easy of course, i had to tap the icon several times for some changes and many times for others until that screen pops up, but at least now i have a method. Now syncing with Studio makes sense and works,
