I changed the name of my printer from the default to another name. Now I can’t connect to the printer. It just says offline.
Tried all the things in the Wiki, they are mostly outdated and my printer has completely different screens than are shown in the wiki so that’s not much use. I am signed into my account, but I can’t add the printer using either the PC software or Bambu Handy, nor can I find a PIN code access code, or QR code as it says in the wiki.
Please help.
I have t experienced your outcome, but, I have renamed my printers a couple of times.
I did this in Bambu Studio (BS). It then updates the printer. Zero problems.
Have you used the device tab in BS to try and find new printers? It might find your existing one. You may have to remove it from BS first.
If all else fails, go nuclear, use the reset option. Info at the bottom of this page.

Hey Malc
No, there are no printers shown in BH or BS. Trying to locate “nearby devices” from BH does nothing. I ended up doing a nuclear reset, still waiting for the calibration ■■■■ to finish.
I did manage to find both the pin code and the access code in the setup screens, they seem to just disappear and you have to jump through hoops to get them back. Got some good tips from users below.
As soon as the printer is done calibration, I will try one of those methods. Also, the name should go back to default so that might help.
It would be really nice if they would update the WIKI to reflect the actual current firmware, as it is pretty much useless as is.

Got it to work finally (using the QR code) after a nuclear reset. As I said, the WIKI really needs to be updated. Are the guys at Bambu asleep at the wheel or what? I have had this printer for nearly a year and the WIKI has never been updated in this section at least.
Would have saved me several hours of freakin’ around…

BTW thanks Malc and all the guys in this thread for the assist. It took a while and a bunch of head scratching to sort it all out.
