I haven’t used my X1 Carbon for a while and I updated the firmware just today. When I open Bambu Studio it doesn’t recognize my printer and I can’t figure out what is causing the problem. I accessed the IP address and MAC address but when I type them into the boxes nothing happens. I am really a rookie at this so help would be appreciated.
Downgrade your current firmware to the last version that worked well for you…and stay there.
I have no idea how to downgrade my firmware and I don’t understand why that would help me connect to my printer. I have an Apple Mac Studio computer with the M4 chip and a studio display. My printer is the Carbon X1. Both are on the same wireless network. When I try to connect the printer by binding with the access code nothing happens. I have located then I’m address and the MAC address and I typed them into The form but nothing happens when I click the continue button - it never lights map or changes color.
I’m having the same issue. It’s easy to do on the app. Go to the three lines at the top (settings)>Firmware Version> and “I want to downgrade to a previous version” then Pick on that is the current one. Then I had to restart everything. Actually, I restarted the printer twice. I’m totally new I just found the suggestion faster
Good luck! Be safe and warm.
Thanks, I downloaded the Bambu Handy App and scanned the barcode and that fixed everything! I am now connected.
