I received my P2S at the end of December and loaded the then current version of Bambu Studio and all was good, both downloading from Maker World and my designs from Fusion 360.
I updated to latest Bambu Studio this evening and I now can’t open models from Maker World, it opens Bambu Studio, shows the pop-up to say its loading then just hangs.
I tried uninstalling and then re-installing and restarted the laptop but the exact same scenario occured.
I’m going to try rolling back to the previous issue but in the meantine any help would be appreciated please.
The same happened to me last evening on my MacBook Pro. Everything works fine with the update on the windows computer I use as well but my main computer is the MacBook Pro. It has all the updates and every time that I click on an online print from MakerWorld through Studio or even bring in a file from the MakerWorld download on website it crashes my Studio. Have done the same in terms of On the same terms uninstall and reinstall and same issue. I posted this earlier today on all of the Reddit forms with hopefully a resolution as well as put in a ticket through Bambu support.
Ok, since posting, I went back to V 2.4.0.70 and that didn’t work when clicking Open In Bambu Studio but following RetroSharky’s suggestion to open the .stl file it worked! Thank you
I’ll try V 2.5.0.66 in the morning and report back…
Ok, just a follow on from yesterday, I did sucessfully load a .stl from Maker World this morning with the old version of Studio (V 2.4.0.70) and then also loaded a .stl I’d created in F360.
So I thought I’d give the latest version of Studio another go and it now works fine from both places.
I have no idea why I had the problems yesterday but thanks to those that helped.
