Can't send files to X1C. Support is an absolute **** joke

I’m about to dump this thing into a river, honestly. I can’t send files to the SD card, have been through every thread, have tried every fix, and have been in contact with support for a while now, but they’re absolutely useless. They deny that this is a long running issue, even when I link them to threads that have been active for nearly two years.

I’m genuinely trying to think of any reason not to dump this buggy piece of ■■■■ and order a Prusa One.

Putting it in a river isn’t very ■■■ environmentally friendly. Couldn’t you just throw that ■■■■■■■■ in a ■■■■■■■■■■■■ dumpster or something?

A fair point! I’ll find a dumpster I can drop it into from a great height…

The chosen title is highly deceptive. Instead of joke should have used nightmare

Well, I was trying to not be toooooo much of a downer in my first post :stuck_out_tongue:

Have you formated your SD card to FAT32?

Tried a new and good sd card (not one from aliexpress or something)? Does your network connection work properly?

Yes. The card itself works fine in the printer. I can manually load files to the card offline and print them, and timelapses record to and download from the SD card just fine.

The card is good, and the printer likes it, and uses it for other things no problem.

The network connection works well enough for me to be able to hit Print Plate and it works fine, I can watch the camera, I can move things around, I can control the AMS fine, etc. The only function that isn’t working is the actual Send function.
Could certainly be a network issue as that uses an FTP connection when transferring over LAN, but I can’t find any reason why my network would be preventing that. Other FTP connections on the same LAN work fine.

Random shot in the dark, but I seem to remember having an inability to do this when I was troubleshooting my trouble registering filament changes, so it’s worth asking:

Do you, by any chance have multiple instances of Bambu Slicer or Orca running at the same time on any machine? I had one in a Docker container I had forgotten about (running) and it caused all sorts of issues that steadily got worse until I remembered it and shut it down.
