I am having trouble getting studio to color this specific object. It is a very simple circle with 3 wedges inlaid into it. (I have created much more complex assemblies than this, this is just a reduced and highly simplified part of my actual project for troubleshooting).
The assembly was created in fusion 360, exported as 3mf, then loaded into studio as a single object with multiple parts. Two of the wedges will accept the change filament option just fine but one of them will not slice with the color included not matter what i do.
if you click on objects instead of global do you have 4 objects? if so set the colors there.
I do have 4 objects, odd thing is it looks like the one wedge and the main body were both called “body1”, I renamed it to body4, then reselected my blue filament. It is still the same. this one really has me puzzled.
I also reloaded another object that i created in fusion 360, colored some parts really quick and that one has no issue.
Did you reslice after changing the body name?
I did, Still the same.
I even built the model over from scratch in fusion 360.
It turned out to be something with circular patterns in fusion 360, I redrew my geometry manually then extruded, and exported it and everything sliced fine!
