Took new printer out of box following all set up instructions.
First issue is during the warm up the cover of the hot end falls off when the hot end moves to the front left corner as you are looking in. It seems to hit something. I can’t upload the video. I am able to quickly put it back on and the print continues
Then the prints have a lot of issues. Printed a simple calibration cube and the results are included
I’m assuming you’re slicing the models yourself? Double check that you have the right printer selected. You don’t have the calibration printing at the front of the build plate. Have you tried printing any of the onboard models from the display? Often people print a the boat (Benchy).
I printed the benchy first and it worked then tried to slice other items and they failed.
I went back to a benchy and it failed so I assume I messed some setting up. I am going to try a factory reset and start over
Yes, slicing for the wrong printer seems to cause persistent issues. Good call on the factory reset.
Well everything is working now. I wouldn’t have even thought to look at Bambu Studio settings. Apparently even though I linked my printer I needed to unselect some other options.
