Cat proof A1 combo inclosure

I bought a Top Cube enclosure for my A1 Combo. it works to keep the cat from putting her paws where they shouldn’t be. it is also her preferred napping spot when the printer is not in use. the cat weighs 19 pounds and the enclosure has no problem supporting her weight.

Hi, where can I find the models for this enclosure? I want to build an enclosure but I don’t have the time to model one.

just print a cage out of PETG

He usually has the STLs on his site. It also says where they are in the description.

You would have to check the thickness of your material against his.

If you go into the ai section you will see parts, click it and there is a a1 box you can buy for 7USD so yea

the Ikea Lack table costs about 10 euros and is 55cm x 55cm x 45cm. A pair of lack tables, one upspide down, bolted together by the legs, makes a convenient enclosure frame. Buy some cheap material for the side panels. Hinges and magnets would be helpful for a door. There’s models for the parts on makerworld, as it’s quite common to use this table for printer enclosures.

edit I am not completely sure if the AMS Lite will fit. You might have to do some research there.

When I got my A1 a few months ago, I wanted to A: keep the cats out, and B: and for temp control if needed. I got a TopCube fabric/metal enclosure that is tall enough to accommodate an AMS if I ever needed one. My cats love the top, who think its a heated Cat Hammock! After a while of putting up with them fighting over the space, I finally added a sheet of thin ply with “anti cat strips”, I printed. The printed strips are effective, but somehow remind me of something Vlad The Impaler might print, if he had the tech, only larger :-).

I have found a solution. I am using Hardware cloth and printing brackets for it. This is not Inclosed, but it is fully cat proof. Thank you for your input!

Maybe we could make some scents that cats hate? I’ve heard they don’t like oranges.
