I was curious if theres any setting how i could change the length of retraction when the filament gets changed. so i want that the old filament gets retracted a few more cm then with standard settings. sorry if thats an obvious thing im pretty new to the bambu studio and didnt find any settings other the printer settings → Basic Information → Advanced → Filament Unload Time. But even in the litte help box it says that this is just for statistics. Happy about any kind of help

I thought those settings are for the z hop while printing? or is it the “Retract amount before wipe”? and is 100% the standard setting and from there i have to adjust or does 100% mean he retracts it completely back to the ams? Sorry for so many questions.
No, those settings are all retraction specific. The one that mentions “Z Hop” is asking the height you want it to z hop when it retracts. The main two settings you want to focus on are “Length” and “Retraction Speed”. Anything you set here is going to override the printer settings when that specific filament is used. The percentage under “Retract amount before wipe” refers to the “Length” number. In other words if you set it to 100% and the retraction length is 1mm then it’s going to retract 1mm before a wipe.
