Change the color of the model image

Is there a setting that will change the color of the model image when in the prepare window?
I see in an earlier answer it says “shading renderer has been added to the prepare screen”
Where do I find the setting for shading renderer?
I know how to change the filament color and how to paint.

If you know how to change the filament colours in the filament chooser in the Prepare tab, you are halfway there.

There are at least three ways, assuming you have at least two colours:

Any of these will change the colour of the whole model if selected, or the individual part if specified.

  1. Using the keyboard

    • Select the model/object
    • Press the number associated with the filament you added to the chooser.

  2. Use the mouse

    • Select the model/object
    • Right-click the model
    • Select the menu item “Change filament”
    • Choose one

  3. Use the objects panel

    • Swap the view in the Prepare tab to objects
    • Navigate down to find your model
    • Select the model
    • Keyboard (doesn’t always work)
      • Press the number associated with the filament you added to the chooser.
    • Mouse
      • Right-click the model
      • Select the menu item “Change filament”
      • Choose one
