Changing nr of colors

Noob questions:)

I have a print with 4 colors, but when i open it in bambustudio it opens with 6 colors. When i remove 2, the colors i need disappear:)

changing the color of 3 and 4 will destroy the print as is with the good colors…

How to?

Thanks!!!

Repaint the parts with the colors 5 and 6 using the colors 3 and 4 in the Paint tool (use fill tool). Then remove 2 colors and reassign the colors 3 and 4 to the wished ones.

It shouldn’t matter. If you use only 4 colors you can just hit print and assign the 4 colors you use to AMS slots.

Where do i assign them? In bambulab? App? I have the p1s. After i print, cant assign the slots like in my old a1

Unfortunately that is one of the short comings of the P series over the X/A series. You can’t re assign AMS filament selection from the printer. You have to do it via the App or from Bambu Studio.

What would be the easiest way? Repainting? I hope not:)

No you shouldn’t need to do that. Just resend(print) the print from Bambu Studio and match up the filament colours in the dialog box.

whaaaa nice!

You are great!
Thanks a lot:)
