The paint tool is rather tricky to implement in the slicer. I dare say that is part of the issue.
Maybe playing with the number of walls will allow you to hide the infill?

I can see how with painted surfaces this might be trickier.
I checked OrcaSlicer, couldn’t find any equivalent functionality.
Of course, forcing a particular infill is also a tricky option for multi color prints - what if a particular layer doesn’t have that color, should we force a color change?
For me, the most flexible solution would be to specify the priority list of filaments for infill, where I could say “use the light one first, then the dark one”, and the slicer would choose the first one from that list that is present in the layer.
I agree. Although it may make sense to prevent bleed through by using a white sparse and solid infill filament.
As a last resort, I did struggly somewhat with a print’s bleed through a while ago. I was able to overcome it by using the ball paint tool’s depth penetration but it was really frustrating painting with that…

Thanks for all the hints! That’s actually another possible solution - if we could “paint” the insides (we can’t today), then we could mark which areas we want with what infill.
But I doubt it’s high on Bambu’s list ![]()
