Clean nozzle mode?

Was curious if there was a way to clean the nozzle on p1 s. for example i had to cancel a print that wasnt turning out right and there was a tiny bit of filament hanging from nozzle . can i manually tell the print to clean nozzle?

There is a mod on printables called " Best Nozzle Wiper / Abstreifer Bambu P1/X1" maybe have a look at it. i a going to test that out next time.

I bookmarked this one, haven’t bought parts yet though.

not exactly what i was looking for. I meant is there a way or setting on the printer itself to perform a nozzle clean?

if i understood right i have your same problem. after the purge and cleaning operation, during the heating time, nozzle eject other small piece of filament… right? i’m thinking to modify g code to clean the nozzle again before the start of print.

what i was wondering is. without printing anything is there a way just to clean the nozzle?

If you’re looking to get filament off of the OUTSIDE of your nozzle (as I think you’re asking), crank your nozzle temp up to 230 and use a brass brush on it. You may want to remove the silicone sock so you don’t tear it up, but the soft brass probably won’t hurt it, and you shouldn’t need to be too vigorous to get the plastic off. Don’t forget to drop the temperature to 0 after you’ve finished.

Manually only. Several brushes available on MW so you just brush it off if you wish. There is no setting that cleans the nozzle. You would need to run custom gcode, which is like printing. So no.
