A1mini, Bambu Studio, using Bambu and ESUN filament. Nozzle started dragging on the Print bed yesterday after using PETG. I thought it might be a clogged nozzle so I ran cleaning filament through the nozzle did not see anything unusual.
Then clicking started. I figured I had filament stuck but I could see any. So I started going through everything,I cleaned the nozzle again, (it’s a new nozzle about 5 hours of print time). I checked the hub, I didn’t see anything. I thought it might be the gear wheel so I put a new one on. I changed the hub and put a new nozzle on. Everything is clear. I can pass my nonglogger without any issues. Clicking gone (yay!) Now getting a clogged nozzle alert. So I did a calibration flow, flow rate, flow calibration etc The nozzle STILL dragging on the Print bed.
So what direction do I go now? Where do I look next? Are there any other calibrations is there a z offset calibration do? Do I need to change the zee offset and if so what do I change it to. Does anyone have any other suggestions
Before adding z offset, try checking the 3 screws on the front behind the nozzle fins (remove nozzle). And the 4 screws on the back side of the heater assembly. To get at the 4 on the back, you need to remove the part fan shroud (it has 3 screws not just the two that are obvious) and let it hang.
With bambu studio I only know how to change z offset this way and I think it only works with textured plate.
At the top left, edit your printer profile, then go to machine start g code. Near the bottom where it says “G29.1 Z{-0.02}”, add however much it takes. Maybe try {0.02} which is 0.04 more than it is now. Then save as a custom printer profile.
