I just had a clicking noise and diagnosed it as the XY stepper motor on the left side facing it. The motor has a bearing right where the shaft comes out of motor, underneath the pulley. On the P2S the motor on the left is more difficult to remove due to the LED lights. Though BL sent a new motor, I proceeded to wick some oil in between the pulley and the motor by removing the back panel. The noise immediately stopped!
that would definitely be the idler pulley where the tensioner is underneath.
taking it apart, does not void warranties. that’s why they created the wiki and expect you to be the Field Service tech.
