Cloning creates different top layers

Morning,

I’m currently trying to batch print a design that has two top layers. The black line in the follow pictures is .16mm lower than the top green part.
When printing one model the outcome is fine. It irons the part and it comes out nicely. However, when I clone the part 1 or more times, quality changes. One of the models usually comes out okay-ish, while the other ones lack quality. Please check the area around the black lines below.

I’ve already found this topic: **Cloning Problem** - #9 by Sinning
But that doesn’t seem to be the issue on my side. Speeds don’t change when I clone the design.

I’ve tried arachne wall generation, subtler line thickness, slower printing speeds, more/less flowrate, basically a lot. I’m open to your suggestions as I’m not sure how to fix this anymore.

Thanks a lot!

2 top layers seems very few to me. I was already surprised by 3 top layers as a default in Bambu Studio. Before my X1C i typically used 5 to 6.

Does quality depend on the position on the build plate? Maybe the problems are related to cooling.

Sorry I didn’t explain it correctly. I’m using the standard 3 top layers. What I meant was is the black pieces are .16mm lower than the green. So there’s two topmost layers, if that makes sense.

Position on the build plate doesn’t matter as far as I can tell. However I did notice an improvement when setting top layer flow to 1.15.
