Hi, I am reasonable new here and to 3D printing. I have an A1+AMS and running Bambu Studio on a MacAir iOS. Was wondering if after I send the project to the printer, does Bambu Studio need to stay open or open in the background on my computer or can it be closed or even shutdown. Will that effect the printing process. Thanks
Jim
No it doesnt need to stay open , once sliced and sent to the printer
Thanks. Appreciate your fast responce.
Also, once you have finished printing the item, there is a reprint option available directly on the printer. No Bambu Studio needed.
I tried that yesterday. Cool feature. Bambu A1 printer and software is so easy to use.

I’m about to do a full strip out of computer, the desks, “printers”, yes, I had 2 A1 Mini’s, now running the A1, ready to pair up with the AMS Lite, so I needed a bigger desk, especially to hold all the spools I have now…..lol….so it’s time to build new desk for Printer and computer with my Dual monitors to sit on top of each other rather than side by side, I may even setup my 5 spool holder container which I have setup with 5 manual feeders, which I have already 3D printed a 9 PTFE port.
Have a great day ![]()
