Color not as advertised experience

To anyone who purchased the Matte Charcoal PLA.
I just received two spools today and the color is way off to what is advertised on the site.
left: Matt Charcoal
Right: Black PLA

My assumption is someone at the warehouse got the Ash Grey confused with Charcoal and mislabelled the boxes. Or is that indeed the charcoal color?

I haven’t got the AMS to read the RFID as 1, I don’t want to break the seal opening case of a return and 2, the printer is busy

I just want confirmation that it is indeed the wrong colour. That or the website is very misleading,

That’s black. I don’t know where you get grey from.

I updated with a side by side. Maybe it’s the plastic that’s giving it a lighter look.

It’s the bag, I have a roll, it’s very dark.

They used to call it matte black but then changed it to charcoal - quite a while ago - as it’s not really true black, I do like it though, it’s probably the refill I get the most

having the EXACT same “issue”… i even checked the color code before ordering ( 11101 )
The 3 refills i received, does not match my leftover from the first order…

note: I ordered Matte Charcoal the first time around, now refills…

  • Does not match, the Bambu Lab Matt Charcoal doesnt match my original… same code for color

If its defective, it being sealed or not is of no concern to the store

Filaments can look different when printed too. Edit - thought you had an open spool to check the tag. That would be pretty conclusive.
