COLOR SELECT BUG: Bambu Studio >Materials Setting Error

I am experiencing an issue where when I select a 3rd party filament I can not manually change the color, as was always available before. This mean that if I do multicolor prints (obviously I do… I have 4 AMS Pro2 Units per P1S Printer) there’s no way to let the device know which slot to use to coincide with the print file. Furthermore, you can’t even sync the colors to the prepare page, as the colors default to white and can not be changed.

This has brought my printing to a complete halt.

User Story:

  • When I Open Bambu Studio
  • And Then I Load a 3rd party filament roll into my AMS 2 Pro
  • And then I Open the Device Tab in Bambu Studio
  • And then move my mouse to the “Control” section of the Device Page
  • And then I move my mouse to the “AMS” filament management section of the Control Panel
  • And then I click the pencil / edit icon
  • The “Materials Setting” pane opens for that specific slot of the AMS
  • And then I click on the colored dot (default white) associated with the “color” line item setting
  • Color Selection Pane fails to open when color dot is clicked
  • no click is indicated
  • the color selection dot does not show an outline or indicate that the “mouse over” is recognized
  • no “note” or “help” bubble/box gives a further description of the color selection dot when hovered over
  • dot is dead and menu is not available
  • Therefore, can not manually change the color of filament in the material settings pane within the control pane within the device menu
