Working on a mount for FPV screen for the Cyberbrick Official Remote.
Link: compatible FPV monitor
Cool, what hardware does it use?
This is for the 4.3in SoloGood FPV monitor which is a common model that comes in other brands too.
Standard 5.8GHz Analog video is heavily used in FPV drone racing. There are many options for monitors like this, in all different sizes.
There are also goggles, though they tend to be a bit more expensive they are significantly more “immersive”.
Do a Google for “FPV Monitor” and you’ll get plenty of hits. Or if you’re interested in a display you can wear on your head, “FPV Box Goggles” will show you the lowest cost options (lower cost because they’re not as compact as true FPV goggles, not because they’re inferior in any meaningful way).
I’ve been FPV racing drones for the better part of the last decade. Here’s a short video of a race where I was neck-and-neck with another racer…
I’m the guy on the right. My system is digital video, HD, so the video is sharper and the slow motion is smoother. The guy on the left is flying the same kind of video system as being discussed here.
