Is there any way to create a top layer like the left picture? I have tried concentric top layer and 100% infill with a height modifier. Always end up with the pattern like the left pic.
AFIK the Bambu slicer is unable to do this.
Any ‘object’ within an infill area is seen as anchor point so to say.
No problem for any linear infill…
The slicer tries to find the best compromise.
Some slicers allow for a fixed angle for the infill.
But I don’t think it would affect the circular infill in the way required.
I just tried some slicing and dicing…
It looks as if the Bambu slicer actually has two flows for this type of infill.
The first is your problem with the overall infill direction not honoured for holes or thing sticking out of this layer.
The second is that there is no way I can see to enforce this.
It seems the infill shape is defined by the walls only.
This becomes obvious once you have a start shape or such that is far from being round.
I would like to see TWO enforcement options:
Follow outer wall.
Don’t change infill direction (might require to use Arachne).
The simple answer is no, what you are trying to do is not possible in Bambu Studio. The closest you can get is to use concentric infill which at the moment is only available in orca Slicer.
If I misinterpreted you question, then please repost but this time, use a higher resolution image, the image you posted is impossible to read the detailed text.
Also, if you wouldn’t mind stating what your objective is, you might be surprised as to how much more improved the answers you will receive. And last, these screen image clearly did not come out of Bambu Studio so one might conclude that they were out of some other slicer such as Cura or Prusa. If you can share that information and what your expectations of the technology are then it will also aid in helping to find a possible workaround.
