amongst my bambu lab collection, I have an X1C, an H2D and an H2S.
Currently I have 4 ams 1 connected to the X1 via a 4 way AMS buffer. The H2S and the H2D each are connected to an AMS 2 pro.
I wish to reconfigure everything.
I wish to use two AMS 1 with my X1 Carbon, 2 AMS1 with the H2S and 2 AMS 2 Pro with the other H2D.
my difficulty to understand is that the X1 needed the AMS Hub to handle more than one AMS.
From what I have looked up and seen, connecting two AMS units to the H2S or H2D need simply a splitter. my two questions are…
(1) Is the AMS hub required to connect two AMS 2 PRO units to the H2D?
(2) Is the AMS hub required to connect two AMS 1 older units to the H2S?
I have four single buffers which I do not use any more which came with each AMS1 unused.
I want to know how best to go about it.
I will put it in another way.
Two AMS 1 connected to an H2S and Two AMS 2 Pro connected to an H2D.
any buffers needed or just two way splitterS?
Thanks for any input.
