Connecting second AMS HT to X2D

I’m a little confused how to connect it. I’ve read that it’s better to have the filament run through the filament buffer, but I also see Y splitters after the filament buffer. With the A1 I had both AMS HT units through a filament buffer.

What would be the correct way to connect 2 AMS HT’s to the X2D?

Use the smoked plastic 4-in-1 PTFE Adapter II from Bambu.

You don’t want the smoke colored 4-1… you want the off-white colored one. I run 2 AMS 2 Pro and 2 AMS HT. The Pros have one 4-1 that goes to the Filament Track Switch and the HTs have their own 4-1 that goes into the other port on the FTS.

Not for an X2D… you want this one… Bambu 4-in-1 PTFE Adapter | Bambu Lab US Store

Thanks, I didn’t know that. I wonder why? I guess I should replace mine. It has been working fine, but they are cheap.
