I first noticed the problem after 01.07.01.00 firmware update. I am at the newest firmware update and I also don’t have a problem with my camera. Just a FYI.
I never had any issues like that until latest 1.07 FW, and the printer see around 10 WLAN of my neighbors, will be difficult to ask them to disable their wifi.
The small touch panel is installed on my X1 Carbon printer.
Under Settings—Network, I deactivated the WLAN and logged in to my other WLAN (I have two WLAN networks).
It’s been working since then.
This is happening for me to on firmware 1.7.0 so I don’t think this is an issue with specifically the latest firmware 1.7.1
Power cycling the printer temporarily fixed the issue but it always comes back.
Bambu did mention they “improved the live view” with their latest updates to both the firmware and handy. I say they screwed something up. Hopefully some more updates fix the issues. Make tickets and be loud about it so they know something is up
I have also this issu after the update to v1.08.04.51 maybe a bug?
It is now printing something so i can’t switch of now!
I try it this evening en let know if it helps!
I have this Connection error -90 now.
I was printing and the camera was working fine and it just dropped.
I tried accessing the SD card but got the -90 error.
I tried restarting Bambu Studio, re-installing the SD card, disconnecting and reconnecting Wifi, Switching to different Wifi network, restarting Bambu Studio again and still -90 error.
After the print completed I powered the printer off waited a bit and turned it back on. Still -90 error, I restarted Bambu Studio again and now Camera and SD card are connecting again at least for now.
Having the same issue, and have a print going on now so not rebooting until it finishes; I think it is might be on BL side this time. Their status tracker shows green.
Same problem here. New X1C as of a month or so ago. Recently it started losing camera connection and SD card connection, but everything else works. Rebooting it via the switch on the back fixes it.
When I reached out to Bambu Support I was told that I “did not understand how to use my printer, kindly refer to the wiki.”
Also see the following from OctoEverywhere (conveniently this forum does not allow links of course)
" Unfortunately, this is a bug with the Bambu Lab X1 printer itself, and OctoEverywhere can’t do anything to work around it. (we have tried). We are attempting to contact Bambu Labs to report and help them fix the bug, but we haven’t gotten a contact yet. Other communities that access the webcam via the local network, like Home Assistant, are also hitting this bug."
There has been nothing but crickets on this issue from BambuLabs, it is affecting remote monitoring, AI features resulting in many failed prints community wide, yet NO solution has been provided beyond “Turn it off, then back on again”
