Connection to wifi problem

It’s times like this that you really wish it had an ethernet connection.

If you’re on any Netgear router, like a Nighthawk, Orbi, etc, UNchecking the “Enabled 20/40 MHz Coexistence” box worked for me.

Having trouble with your personal hotspot disconnecting on your iPhone? Don’t worry, it’s a fairly common issue. Here are a few things you can try to fix it:-
First, check your battery:- Make sure your iPhone has enough battery. A low battery can sometimes cause the personal hotspot to disconnect.
Next, try restarting your iPhone:- A simple restart can often resolve these kinds of glitches. Just press and hold the side button and one of the volume buttons until the power off slider appears, then swipe to power off. Wait a few seconds, then turn it back on.
Finally, try resetting your network settings:- This can sometimes help resolve issues with personal hotspot connections. Go to Settings > General > Reset > Reset Network Settings. This will delete all your Wi-Fi networks and cellular settings, so you’ll need to set them up again.

Thanks a lot Steve.

  • I have a Cisco router and there is a similar setting to yours called Channel Width. It was originally set to “Auto (20MHz or 40MHz)”.
  • The box to change this setting was initially greyed out for me though. I first had to change my Security Mode from “WPA Personal” to “WPA2 Personal”, and my Network Mode from “Wireless-B/G Only” to “Wireless-N Only”.
  • Then I could set Channel Width to be “20 MHz Only”.
  • I was then able to connect the printer to the network first try.

Thank you, I figured this was the issue and was trying to figure this out in the admin settings without success. But googling your suggestion led me to an app (offical) which allowed me to split the bands. Works great now!

I found out, that it only support 2.4Ghz , but it does not support channel 13.
To make sure it will connect, try 2.4Ghz at channel 1 or 6. This solved my issue.

Hey there, it’s super frustrating when your Wi-Fi button on your iPhone is all greyed out, right? Feels like you’re cut off from the world! Here’s the deal, there are a few things that could be causing this.
First off, it’s always worth a shot to restart your phone. Sometimes a simple reboot can clear up minor software glitches.
If that doesn’t do the trick, try toggling Airplane Mode on and off. This can sometimes reset the Wi-Fi connection.
If you’re still having trouble, you might want to check for any software updates. Outdated software can sometimes cause compatibility issues.
As a last resort, you could try resetting your network settings. This will erase all your saved Wi-Fi passwords and Bluetooth connections, so make sure you have those handy!

Thanks so much. That advice fixed my connect problem!

Glad I could help. New printer? If so, enjoy. Your mind is about to be blown.

Hello
I also have problems here with a Bambulab X1C.
The printer connects to my router, but it won’t connect to the Internet.
I have already tried several things:

  • WiFi network only on 2.4GHz
  • The connection is established via hotspot on the phone
  • 2.4 ghz bandwidth is set to ht20

For the connection to the internet I use a Netgear nighthawk M1.

I hope someone can offer a solution for this?
