Sorry I accidentally destroyed the data in the poll that was here, so now it’s the consolidated H2D poll thread!
Please answer Zammer3D’s which did you buy poll further down.
There is also a poll below to track if when you ordered there was a discount offered. It now seems to be something that support is questioning if it actually happened.
What is the use of the poll, why not rather ask the US buyers to vote yes if they purchased the machine and No if they did not then we would have some useful data.
That’s a great question. The answer is that Bambu Lab sells, let say 500 to 1000 printers a day in the US, but we don’t see 500 new users on the board per day. In other words this is a backwater.
In this case we at least get a look at how many people have purchased one vs. have not (assuming everyone who sees it votes). Definitely not definitive numbers, but it’s something.
I definitely didn’t need another printer - I had three already - BUT they were fairly basic printers by comparison, so the H2D has replaced all of them!
Getting laser version of this printer would be my third laser machine (first two stand alone lasers) but I’m getting it solely to not have to do any upgrading down the road. I held off on getting an X1C for whatever the new machine would be, so im going balls out (but also becuz I have gift cards, cant forget that most important part). Im not going 40w though, im sure I can get just that laser down the road should I plan to actually use the laser feature, but as of now I have no REAL plans other than tinkering. I’m just treating myself =P (no wife, no kids btw)
Bambu have several hundred staff already, and I see 150 jobs open on their careers page.
For a company this size they must be hoping to sell double or triple digit thousands of units across all their machines. Google says Creality sell 1M printers a year (which we can guess are mostly low-enders (pun intended)).
Do we know what is their largest market? China, EU+UK, US?
There is only one (1) option here. How can you tell whether others DID receive said offer? I would be interested in that + from where the people who vote are located.
If you are just gathering people who allegedly did not receive said offer, that is not really a poll, but a request for those in a like situation to add themselves to a list.
I think the idea is that we already know that most people got the sale offer. Those of us that sat on the H2D page refreshing (the purchase page went live 3 minutes before launch but you couldn’t add it to your cart yet) and purchased within the first minute or so did not have the option to bundle. Over the next 15 minutes the bundle deals started showing up category by category, and they have not gone away since. I actually cancelled my initial order to upgrade to the 40W and take advantage of the now-available bundle deals after 20 minutes
