Contest entries not showing on contest page?

I’ve just uploaded two new models and submitted them to the Masks contest. Under “my entries” for the contest, both say “joined the contest”. The product pages for both models have the flag “In Contest Masks”. So they’ve definitely been entered.

Neither of the models show up on the actual contest page under Entries (Masks - MakerWorld). My buddy uploaded two entries at the exact same time I did, and his showed up immediately (the venom and carnage masks you’ll see under “New Uploads”. It has been a half hour and mine are absent from the contest page.

Here is one of my entries, any idea why it’s not on the contest page? Without showing up on that page, I obviously stand no chance in the contest…

There is/are:

But uploading stuff without print profile and real picture is not permitted. So please add them or you will be reported soon.

While it’d be cool if that were true, the contest rules do allow uploading models and follow the rules of model uploads. Print profiles are mentioned in rule 1:

Upload your original 3D models to MakerWorld in .3MF or .STL format. Including a Print Profile with your model can help you gain more Likes and Downloads.

So it’s not required, but recommended. And then when user uploads print profile, the print profile is subject to print profile upload rules which do require real print photo.

One thing to note:

  1. Each model must be printable on an FDM printer.

I don’t know how they can enforce that without print profile requirement… Rely on other users reports?

Yeah sorry, wrong word. It is still permitted but not recommended and by the way I think a model must always have a real picture, having the print profile or not.

I’m halfway there. I think that a model without print profile should simply have renders but ones that would correspond to it’s printability and end-effect. The models with print profile though? Yeah, real photos all the way.

Yeah, you’re probably right, but honestly, a model without a print profile and without real photos is pretty useless to me. I mean, why should I be the one testing your model, especially when these are usually large models?

And that’s why there’s possibility for users to upload profiles and receive points for them. I did and I still do upload profiles to items that don’t have them that I found useful/pretty/deserving
