I noticed this as well. Didn’t really bother me, but I agree that a bit more clarity could be nice, at lease to the people who participated in the contest.

I imagine they are trying to work out if my filled clock utilising transparent materials is first prize.

Or my Maracas and shares should get that honour.

The problem I think they are struggling with is that there are far better entries than mine, but, they enjoy making cool sounds whilst watch the hands of the clock go around and their work isn’t getting done.

Maybe the judging team is off for the May Day week-long holiday in China.

OR

They’re debating if my Aquarium Biological Filter utilizing PETG poop is a contender to MalcTheOracle’s entries.

They might have to print and compare all clocks to see which one works best haha.

They are busy minting new MakerWorld coins

That is a damn fine clock my friend, I’m impressed.

But, can you put chocolate in it?

Or candy?

I think you probably can.
Cool designs, do they dispense candy every hour?

You should try.

Nope, if the sweety goodness comes out automatically, others (read ‘naughty thieves’) would get them!

We really know they’ve been busy shakin poops in this PLA-CF poopa raca

Poop-aRaca

Another deadline expired :smiling_face_with_tear:

I would have expected different winners :pensive:

At a guess, I was your excellent clock away from winning.

Maybe if it was a chocolate filled clock they wanted I stood a chance against the better clock.

Well done.

It is a bit of a head scratcher. I thought for sure they were telegraphing the winners when they made three contest entries featured models, the spinning top mold, your poop broom and the poop tower game by GlennovitS 3D.

The winning model had zero successful prints when they published the winners, which I found odd. I mean it’s a neat model, but I don’t quite understand their grading rubric.

I like the idea that a model with zero user interest could win, it means I’m in with a chance!

The Spinning top mold which came second, achieved 60 downloads and prints combined.

I’m not taking anything away from this designer or the design.

I do wonder how many actually did all the steps involved including having an oven, exact measurements, tools and gloves suitable for manipulating the part melted material.

Then BL commented on the model You are an absolute genius. That couldn’t hurt the chances,

I was wondering about this too…but I saw at least eight successful prints in the comments so I guess that’s enough evidence for me, will try it out myself

If you don’t burn your typing fingers, put a picture up here of your resulting spinning top.

Three different models just to change the trademarked text? Come on…
