I’m waiting to see if I’m in the running for the biggest pain in 3D Prince’s side award.
Just kidding! You made my day! I also laugh a lot.
But, I wonder. How many people involved on it?
And, the WINNER is … stay tune
I’m new here and I don’t think I can start topics yet, I hope I’m not breaking any rules by posting in this thread. I added a few models of my own design, some of them are Easter-themed. I tried to add them to the competition, everything seemed to be successful, but I don’t see my models among the others. I thought they were waiting for some approval, but 2 days have passed and still nothing. Have I done something wrong, because I didn’t receive any feedback from the system, my models look like they took part in the competition, but even when I logged out, I don’t see them on the list of participants.?
This would be even cooler if it actually -was- a kit card… just sayin’…
im not fully sure I totally understand the dates and time here… are we alowed to publish models today or always a day before the date said on the forums ? as all date in the rules are 1 day behind… thank you
Thank you. I was thinking the same thing. I would like hear the answer of that question.
Hi,
If a contest is scheduled to go live today, you don’t have to wait until the contest page is up to post your model. You can post it before hand and upload it as an entry once the contest page is up. Just make sure not to post it before the scheduled start date.
Thanks
Ok. Thanks for the response. But, it already happened that you guys changed the date of contest before. So, what will happened if we follow what you said. Example: the bathroom accessories was originally march 8th then changed to march 17, and now march 18th. If i upload today, for the 18th, and you decide to change the date, will this compromise my entry?
No it won’t. We will make sure changed start dates won’t compromise the eligibility of our contestants.
A Walpurgis Night competition is yet to come? That time is now upon us.
Can you check why my proposals do not appear in the competition? I wrote about it a few posts above.
Hi,
Your entries do not have photos of an actual printed model and a print profile. This was reported to us by other users and we decided to hide your entries from our contest page. Please include photos of your printed models and a designer’s print profile to your model detail page.
Thanks
Edit - Looks live now…
I just entered the contest with this model, but nothing is showing on the contest page. Surely there are other entries by now as well.
There are tons of contestants without profile and printed photo!
Why didn’t I get any feedback, nothing, complete silence about the model being suspended? Besides, according to the rules. “Including a Print Profile with your model can help you gain more Likes and Downloads.” “Include photos or renderings of the model(s), preferably showing casing actual makes of the model.”
It does not follow from them that printing profile or picture of a printed model is obligatory!
Hi,
We’ve stated numerous times at several occasions that uploads, not only contest entries, but uploads to MakerWorld in general, should include actual printed photos or else it will risk being taken down.Models with no actual pictures are likely to be removed
Our wording in the contest rules should be updated to a more stricter tone and we will do so soon. At this moment, we don’t have an automated system to remove all ineligible models, but our team is working tirelessly to resolve these issues, many brought to our attention by our dedicated community members. We ensure you that all models not meeting our requirements will be taken down eventually.
We are kindly asking you to add actual photos and your own print profile to your model, we don’t believe this is asking too much. We are regrettable that there are other ineligible models in our entries and we are acting swiftly to remove them. You are more than welcome to report them if you believe they do not meet the requirements or have missing components.
Thanks
All my models have renderings of the model, but OK, printed photo is not the problem. Problem for me is a print profile as I am still waiting for my A1 ordered days before it was suspended, without the printer I’am not able to get print profile besides one from my old Ender
As for reporting others, why should I do it, if they have attached a render, that is sufficient according to the conditions, and the print profile is optional according to the same conditions?
BTW. You also published the same rules, that a render is enough, and profiles are not obligatory, for the latest contest…
Publish the profile from Bambu-Studio that you used for Ender3. It will also work on the Bambulab printers. I can also only publish print profiles from the X1C, I don’t know what people with other Bambulab printers do with it.
