When you have finished printing and you want to continue with another print with the same color, how can you set the AMS / printer to leave the filament in place and not retract it?
Not with any checkbox or that.
GCode-Manipulation?
Problem is, the Printer sets everything to a defined state to make sure it will work next time. One of the states is, that there is no filament in the PTFE-Tubing.
That’s a shame, thank you for your answer.
I do not have an AMS, but even without the printer will purge filament before every print even if the color is the same. I modified my start gcode so that when I have not changed the plate or the filament, it just prints a shortened nozzle purge line across the front of the bed and starts printing. No poop made.
