Sometimes it’s necessary to drop the bed in order to access a partial, failed, or completed print and it’s not suitable to use the Home button first.
Is there anyway you guys can update the software so it doesn’t kick in with an alert each time?

That would be nice, I agree, but you can dismiss the alert and do another move (which will pop up another alert.) Ideally, it should know where the bed is if the power has not been shut off, but it’s pretty clear that it doesn’t.
Yeah / having to remove the pop up each button press… I would definitely call that a bug!
Hi
The printer is behaving exactly as it should:
After the print is finished the steppers and the light stay energized for 15min. During this time it’s possible to move the printhead and the bed. As soon as the steppers aren’t energized any more the printer can’t be sure about the position of the head or the bed. So it handles any move as if it were not homed.
If I remember correctly it kept the steppers under power in the early versions of the firmware. Then some guys complained about the wasted power and Bambu changed it.
