After my first print using the coolplate I noticed loads of bubbles under the plates sticker. I was using bambu PLA default settings. Anyone else had this? Ive put in a ticket, ill see what bambu have to say.

I assume that is the smooth PEI plate? You need to remove the protective film from it before printing!

Yeah, mine came today. The clear film wasn’t labeled with a “Remove First” sticker like it probably should have been. Can be a bit tricky to get off too. I ended up sticking a piece of tape to it to get it started then it was easy enough to remove.

We’ll make sure to do some changes so it is more apparent that the protection needs to be removed.

I found this out last night. Its not obvious that there is a protective film on the plate.
Im just amazed that I got a really good print off the protective film. Its base was glass like smooth!

Like printing on kapton tape! 
I am so glad I remembered reading this. I just got my smooth PEI plate and I just about convinced myself that the “protective film” was part of the plate. It was very hard to get that first corner released. Thanks everyone for this thread!
