So I’ve been printing these toys like mad, dozens a day. All of a sudden, the corners are flaring out (see the red one), both inside and outside. This makes the hinges inpossible to move and the model breaks. I haven’t changed any settings.
Both orange and red models were printed on P1S printers using Bambu PLA Basic filament. It happens on all colors. I use Bambu Studio and the only setting adjustment that is changed from standard settings for this model is the infill is set to gyroid.
The printer the orange was printed on still prints great. The one the red one was printed on is still messing up.
Yes. I just did that a couple hours ago & tried it again in green. I also changed the infill. I paused it half way through. Same results unfortunately…
Are you using Bambu Studio? If so, try the auto-calibration by checking the “flow dynamics” box in the dialog that pops up after you press print. That sets the pressure advance automatically, and does pretty good job usually.
Oh ok. I only have an X1C. You may need to run it manually under the “calibration” tab. I think they call it “flow dynamics.” Then you will pick the best line manually and type in the number.
I did a manual calibration and found a workable profile for now. I didn’t notice that the newest update removed the Flow Dynamics Calibration from the P1S popup when you click Print Plate. I don’t understand why they did that. It makes no sense to me. That’s probably why my prints messed up.
Thanks for your help. It is very much appreciated!
