I am trying to upload a project of mine to Makerworld, but it is rejected because the .3mf file contains custom printer/process or filament types.
Can you tell me how should I make this 3mf with Bambu Studio ?
Thank you
If you use Bambu Studio and set up your models with your chosen installed printer choices, just saving the project normally generates the correct 3mf file.
You can’t create a 3mf from other software.
Makerworld uses the combination of models, build-plates, filaments and printers within the 3mf to control their automatic slicing. 3mf files from other sources do not have all this required information.
I sliced the project from Bambu Studio and then went to File then Export and saved the 3mf on the HD! This is their response
It tells you why it is complaining.
- It includes a custom print
or - It includes custom filaments
Do either of those statements sound true for your file?
Upload the file here if you wish and I will see if there is anything obvious.
Probably because of your custom filament presets. Best to save them as system profiles than project profiles.
@Horus_Eye
You need to use system presets (not user/custom presets) for the printer and filament.
Just change the Overture profile with a bbl pla profile and it should work
I solved it. Thanks for the advice
What did you do, help others in the same situation.
Did you remove the conflicting information I pointed out was written in the error information you were given or something else?
Ho aperto un nuovo progetto senza selezionare nulla di personale se non la mia stampante, poi ho importato l’STL fatto lo Slicer e dopo ho esportato il “3mf generico”
So you followed the instructions the error message gave which I pointed out before and removed the incompatible custom elements.
