Creation without using or adding STL files

Is it possible, I’m just curious, to originally create something in Bambu Studio without ever using or adding an STL file? Again, just curious

You can add other types of files like .3mf, you can also add a “primitive” directly from bambu studio although I believe that is an STL

I remember watching a video about someone who made a good design only using Bambu studios. That’s why I’m asking

Even if you only have a f. That file format is a compressed file full of… Files …

You can create some simple things using the add primitive function to create shapes, resize them, combine them, punch holes, extrude text. A keychain would be an example.

This is why I asked this question

It a very interesting video

He created simple things, I’m just wondering if you could use it as a full on CAD, even though it’s not meant to do that!

For very simple things you can as long as it’s in Studio’s very limited repertoire.

But Studio is no match for capable CAD. You can do much more and generally much faster in a CAD program. The tools are better. There’s much more that’s possible, etc.

I’ve used it and it of works! It’s a way greater challenge than a CAD and it’s kind of fun. People can try it if they want!

I’d recommend TinkerCAD before that.
