Anyone have any guesses as to what this might be relating to?
I would hate to order another X1, only to have Bambu announce another new model of printer that might appeal to me more??
I wouldn’t get too excited about a new printer, their Instagram posted the same video and it said that this print was done on the P1P.
They are going to launching a new type of time laps. I highly doubt a new printer is in the works at this time.
I agree - it looks more likely that they are going to find a way to take time lapses from the tool head camera instead.
I guess however if that is the case it will slow down the prints a bit if the z axis needs to be moved down for photos at every layer change,
I also agree though with danny6869 about being in two minds about buying a 2nd X1C now, or waiting a few months to see whether a new option becomes available.

This tweet is in regards to their new external controller that will allow for custom camera timelapse work, remember that weird box on the promo pictures for the p1p? that’s all this is about, pretty niche market, but cool none the less. X1C will remain a flagship for some time, so don’t worry about being a dated printer.
