Custom temperatures in Handy App and on Printer Screen

Using Bambu Studio you can create custom profiles for different filament used in the AMS. Using Generic PLA+ as an example there is no default filament setting for this type in Bambu Studio but you can create a custom filament profile for the AMS with different temperature settings to match the filament.

If you use the Bambu Handy or Printer Screen you are unable to change filament settings, specify temperature for filament in the AMS. Yes you can change the temperature once printing has started but you should be able to set it based on what filament is in the AMS.

Bambu can you add the ability to adjust temperature settings (bed and nozzle) through the Bambi Handy app and the printer screen based on filament in the AMS.

I agree. I thought the temps were calibrated with the flow sensor or something but all filaments get 220c, i have some that need 228c amd get that super annoying extruder clicking constantly cause the temp isnt high enough

I just found out about this problem . I am using eleego PLA the max is 220 nozzle degree and every time I use the app it’s using 240 and that causes the filament to not to stick. I hope Bambu fixes the problem .

I’m having trouble configuring the temperature after starting a print. Since I have novice status, I can’t open a topic about this.

What happens is that I start a print with the nozzle set to 220°C, for example, and during the print, I want to change it to 210°C.

I can make the change on the Bambu A1 panel or through the Bambu Handy app.

However, the change only lasts for one layer. On the next layer, it reverts back to the originally configured 220°C.

Does anyone know how to manually adjust the temperature during printing and make it stay for the rest of the print?

Yes agree. Would like to be able to change temps in the app on my phone.

The printer uses the temperature set by the g-code file it was sent. You cannot change the g-code file while it is printing.
