There’s a popular feature of other 3d print web sites, Customizer, which allows people to fill out a web form to generate customized objects to 3d print. They are based on OpenSCAD, an open source 3d modeling language.
- Customizer by MakerBot on Thingiverse - Thingiverse
- OpenSCAD User Manual/Customizer - Wikibooks, open books for an open world
The reason in particular that I’m asking about this is that I’ve designed a large number of things that I’d like to move to MakerWorld , which would allow people who don’t know CAD to make personalized things, and many of my designs are multicolor, which would fit well for people new to multi-color 3d printing.
