Cutting corners short? Filament piling up

My X1C has worked great for me up to this point. But all of a sudden I’m having this issue where it seems to cut corners short, resulting in a build up of filament in the corners that throws the entire print off (see picture).

This is happening on the exact same 3D model that has previously printed fine with the same settings and the same Bambu Lab Basic PETG. Here’s some trouble shooting I’ve tried already:

  • Fresh new spool of Bambu Lab Basic PETG
  • New hot end
  • Silent mode to see if 50% speed reduction would help
  • Self test
  • Cleaned rods and then redid calibration

Any thoughts on what is going on here and/or what troubleshooting steps I might try next?

Check to see if your part cooling fan is still working or perhaps the harness connected to the front cover is disconnected.

How many walls have you got? There could be a shrinkage issue.

JonRaymond, harness is connected and part cooling fan is going fine.

GenericUser, I have 8. The problem is definitely less with 2, but it is still there. And it used to work fine with 8…

Thanks for all the help so far!
