Hmm ok, not sure if Iāll keep it then if we can only use it in combination with a Bambu printer.
Itās still a core, just doesnāt come with the controller parts. So itās like half a kit
Would be good for other projects I reckon, but totally up to you
I already guarantee weāll be able to use it with a plate changer to send direct commands and not rely on a piece of filament as a switch
I think thereās gotta be more to that timelapse kit than just doing simple timelapse. Or rather, I imagine itāll be able to do more under the right hands.
Also, to point something out. Looks like a plug on the one end, for connecting a trigger cable for DSLRs.
I imagine if thereās different ways to trigger it via the g-code, that itāll open up a bunch of things one can do with it.
Ooooh good pickup
Iām holding out for the plate changer aspect, I printed the open source a1 mini version last week and have been messing with it, hoping to be able to issue a remote command to trigger it etc
Well, it does mention DSLR compatibility in the description. So it has to be more open.
Addendum: Just got an update mail from the Kickstarter campaign. May also be in your inbox. The AMS cable, separate cable or Bluetooth can all be used for pairing.
Hey guys!
Iāve just posted an update regarding the details about the Time-lapse kit. Check it out here and lmk whatās still missing!

How do you add . I cant find anywhere to add the Timelapse to the remote control project.
Hi, @CyberBrick
Could you let us know when you will release the schematics and layout for the electronic components? This would help us start designing the model.
I sent an email to cyber.brick@makerworld.com on March 11, but I havenāt received any response yet.
Weāre eager to start designing the 3D model and look forward to your reply!
I havenāt received a response either; I sent the email on March 9th.
I saw an updated image on the kickstarter with a list of all the parts. There is more then the screenshot, couldnāt capture the whole page
Are the files for the controller anywhere yet? Wanting to known some things about placement allowances for the joysticks
I received a response
They are getting around to them all it looks like
This will be available at some point on Bambulab Store? Im excited to exchange my MakerWorld points for those kits!
After the kickstarter campaign, we should see these in the Makerās Supply store. Iād recommend getting the discounted price in the KS, but can understand you might want to wait and use gift cards. Cheers,
I donāt understand the āCyber āāBrickā project in its entirety.
In principle, itās a great idea⦠you print your own game elements and then add the electronics.
But how does it work on Kickstarter?
For example, if I want to buy the āC - Ultimate Hardware Kit - KS Specialā module, it says something like ā¬46.
Is that the regular purchase price including shipping??
At the same time, it also says HKS$388.
I donāt understand the whole systemā¦
They (Bambu/MakerWorld) are running it on Kickstarter before listing it as a regular item, in order to gauge interest and market it to a different audience. Hence some of the āperksā are electronics AND all the 3D printed parts.
No - if you are after the āC - Ultimate Hardware Kit - KS Specialā reward āperkā, this is not the regular purchase price, but 33% off the purchase price.
Check out the FAQ for more information - two of the answers were screenshotted above.

I have actually received an email that tells me the number of backers and tells me the card my money will be taken from. sadly they have not taken it but instead just took money for the timelapse kit.
Whats really annoying is they are not replying to any of my messages to ask what is going on.
I dont trust the process as they have failed to take my money.
Are you saying they only collected part of your pledge? You bought the timelapse kit as an add-on but they didnāt collect for the cyberkit itself?
