I would and I am sure many of us would like that too.
They would be very helpful. My biggest concern is the bulkier items such as the motor, gears, and servos. I’d rather not start working on an idea and then realize that I need to make substantial changes if I guess wrong on sizes.
Simple measurements should suffice for the electronics.
The app portion is not as nearly important since it seems like it would be relatively simple to get up and running.
Guess mine doesn’t count then.
They’re using the same motors/gears/servos as available on the Maker’s Supply now. For instance, this is the motor they’re providing with the cyberbrick kits.
They use them with these reduction gears. Check out the 3d model they provide on there, as it provides a sample casing to show how it all goes together.
Basically you can cross reference the kit listing on Kickstarter with the Maker’s Supply and find most of the basic hardware.
Thank you. It makes sense that they are reusing parts. Just didn’t want to start down the wrong path.
Thankfully I think I already have all those parts from previous orders. Super convenient.
Can you release the files for the CyberBrick Compatible Models as shown on Kickstarter so that we can get printing whilst we wait for our ordered kits?
